Short Grass
April 29, 2009
I’ve been cracking my head (*crack!* ahh another crack!) thinking about where to do the next shoot. I’m supposed to find somewhere where there’s short grass AND also tall grass. The botanical garden came to mind, but I think I’m somewhat a wee bit traumatised by shoots done in the past. Though, when I went there just to shoot the leaves and morning light with my brother last saturday, it was all good. Hmm.. maybe I should do a recce again.
Well, speaking of ‘short’- I’m a tad bit short of time too. Less than three weeks before I leave for India, and I still have to:
1. find a new place to rent
2. finish up backlogs
3. plausibly shoot for AFF;
What is AFF? Well, I’m pretty excited about this- but I’m still crossing my fingers and hope I nail this one good. I mean, I’ve got the email, but you know, sometimes you’re just afraid of jinxing it by telling the whole wide world. Well, maybe this isnt the whole wide world but…….. it could be?
you know what they say, “to the world, you could just be a blog, but to a blog – you could be the world.” hah!
Now.. short grass.. short grass.. blimey. I have a scatter brain.
Continuity
September 5, 2008
So I’m writing now, just to get the feel of continuity.. although I think there’s much to talk about. :p
My RELC teacher from when I first got here in Singapore taught us to write diaries. She said, “I don’t care how or what you write, just write!” She told us to just sit down in front of a blank page and write for about 15 minutes. And just write, about anything and everything.
I am a mellow person, so I started talking about personal stuff. But I was and still is very much a scatter-brain, which means my topics went all over the shop midway through everything. Oh did I tell you I went to Mount Sophia yesterday? Yea.. kinda like that.
So when it was time to read out our diaries, and we were allowed to censored the stuff, mine went, “I used to *censored* *censored* .. Oh by the way it was raining and I think I remember when it was dark and *censored* *censored* *censored* .. and *censored* *censored* .. but *censored* .. though.. yea.. and I think the porridge wasn’t really nice.”
Haha.. Funny how I remember things while forgetting stuff. They’re probably not accurate. But I do cherish each one of them, being the scatter brain that I am.
