F1 Pictures
September 28, 2008
I’ve been looking at some F1 pictures and I think they’re great! And it’s such a difficult environment to take. It’s at night, and the cars are moving at 260km per hour. Unless you get really long lenses with really good speed, and controlled noise from the sensors, you have to really rethink through how to shoot your pictures.
I suppose that’s when you start trying new formulas (pardon the pun)- and create a new feel. That’s why you don’t see the typical shots that people normally take during F1 races. These shots I’ve been seeing has this different feel about them, and they’re more gritty- for lack of a better word. And I love them!
So what does that teach you? When life gives you lemon in very little light, improvise. Speaking of which, I’m in the midst of doing my promo mailer. I think an idea just hit me just this morning. Hah. We’ll see how this goes.
